About twelve starting with Klik and Play, I think... although I used to program little text adventures in QuickBASIC when I was still in primary school. MANSION.BAS - I'll have to find that again some time.

Hmm... I started to make games seriously around... let's see, grade 4 I was 9 I think. Before then I used to play around a bit with making games, but not seriously in any meaning of the word.

I started at 12 with a limited use copy of TGF that came with the book,Awesome Game Creation No Programming Required.
I caught on very quickly to making games.
I have also made some games on a TI-83 calculator and some very simple C++ text based games.

When I was about 7 with some visual basic variant for the Mac (not a Microsoft VB variant, a variant of basic that was visual.)
I made Myst-type games then. With puzzles that made no sense, because for some reason, I couldn't figure out that it was annoying to have to click at a random place to find a hidden button. :-/
But I guess it's better than what I'm doing now.... That is, nothing.
"The light which puts out our eyes is darkness to us."
